Driftwood Foundation is a Registered Charitable Society established in 1991 and based in Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.

Our purposes are:

• To sponsor cultural events which draw attention to the unique characteristics of the Bulkley Valley and Northwestern British Columbia

• To promote independent research into recreation and resource plans for the Bulkley Valley and Northwestern British Columbia to ensure its beauty and diversity remain intact

• To promote full and informed public involvement in decisions made about recreation and resource plans for the Bulkley Valley and Northwestern British Columbia by providing the public with objective information regarding the bio-physical, economic, social and cultural effects of the various alternatives
